About us

Albion Waste collects waste and recycling from over 1,000 business customers in London. We have a fleet of 14 vehicles and collect general waste, dry mixed recycling, glass, cardboard, food and construction waste.

 

We tailor the service according to our customers’ preferences and can collect up to twice a day, 7 days a week.

 

Our collections can be regular or one-off and we can collect bins bags, skips, bales, loose rubbish and compactors.

 

As a fast growing company, we build long term relationships with our customers, providing a high quality service at competitive prices.

Team

There are many people who make Albion a fast growing boutique waste management company. Here are some of them:

Marianna Banniha

Director

Marianna is a director of Albion Waste. She is in charge of the overall management of the company. She was instrumental in growing the company to where it is now and is a driving force behind the future strategy.

Ammara Anjum

Head of Accounts and Credit Control

Ammara manages internal accounts including the purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation. Ammara is in charge of getting all payments into the company as well.

Kumar Ketharanathan

Accounts Assistant

Kumar is the Accounts Assistant of Albion Waste and helps with invoicing, VAT, payroll, purchase and sales ledgers. He is part qualified in ACCA and has an MBA in Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Sasha Sender

Account manager

Sasha is an Account Manager at Albion. He studied Finance at Westminster University and worked in the travel industry for over 10 years. He decided to try something new and realised waste management at Albion was his calling, where he is an invaluable member the team. His main duties are on-boarding new customers and looking after existing ones.

Eugene Fadejev

Transport Manager

Eugene manages the transport and HR department. He ensures that all vehicles and drivers are roadworthy. He manages the work shift rotas and coordinates staff training. He also identifies and solves future transport problems and ensures vehicles are serviced and maintained in an orderly state. He began his career in transportation in 2004 with International Logistic Freight System. Eugene graduated from the Riga International School of Economics Business Administration in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Nijole Staniulyte

Operations manager

Nijole is the Operations Manager at Albion Waste. She is responsible for the day to day running of customer services, collections and operations. She sets and achieves operational goals.

Nijole has a Masters degree in EU Politics and Administration.

Imantas Liudkevicius

Operations assistant

Imantas is an Operations assistant. He has a degree in Economics and an extended experience in customer services. Imantas’s  job is to provide administrative support, deal with customers queries and ensure that day to day operations of Albion are running smoothly so that all our customers get the best service possible.

Board of Advisors

K advises Albion Waste from time to time on management, promotions, operations and finances. A versatile entrepreneur, the latest venture he cofounded, Zaggora.com, achieved sales of $27.2 million in its first full two years selling 1 million products in 140 countries and being featured in Harvard Business School as a case study.

 

Previously, he acquired and managed hotels, shopping centres and residential assets worth over £500 million. K was also a partner in a private partnership, advising on over £1 billion of real estate assets and loan re-structuring.

 

He also worked in family offices, waste management, government and other.

 

K holds a Law degree from the London School of Economics and a Masters degree from University College London.

Graham advises Albion Waste on transport issues. He is one of the most distinguished and experienced Expert Transport Advisors in the country, handling hundreds of successful cases in different fields of road transportation. He served 13 years in the Royal Engineers as a mechanic in regimental servicing including plant and trailers and has held a Class 1 HGV (Category C+E LGV) licence since 1981. After leaving the Royal Engineers he joined the Metropolitan Police Service traffic division.

 

Graham obtained City & Guilds certificates in Advanced Vehicle Examination, Air Brake Technology,  Tachograph Analysis and Calibration, and the Police Accident Investigation and Reconstruction course and is now a member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Science. He has also written a consultation paper on problems with tachograph legislation for the home office, this directly changed the Transport Act. Since leaving the Police Graham has obtained the Advanced Automotive Engineers qualification with the IMI as well as the Licentiateship Diploma in Road Transport Engineering with the City & Guilds Institute.    

Andrew Priestley is qualified in Industrial and Organisation Psychology; and an award winning Business Leadership Coach recently listed in the Top 100 UK Entrepreneur Mentors (2017). He is an entrepreneur and the author of two #1 best selling business development books.

 

His clients are ambitious running established seven and eight figure companies looking to increase revenues and profits, grow or exit with a valuation. 

 

He brings a level of external accountability to Albion Waste to ensure that it remains aligned to strategic direction, business performance, and operational efficiency outcomes.
